Dear Whole School Leadership community,

Like you, we are devastated by the acts of terrorism against Asian-Americans in Atlanta this week. We stand in grief and solidarity with the Asian-American community.

We’re left in the wake of this tragedy, just like others before it, to consider how we, in our own sphere of influence, can build a more peaceful, just, and anti-racist world. As Montessori educators, we aim to build communities of peace that exist in opposition to hate and its derivatives. Our goal is to empower our students and families to combat racism and racist rhetoric.

Our work is necessarily intertwined with the cause for peace and social justice, and so as we look to the future we transform our grief into action and advocacy.

In solidarity,

Whole School Leadership
