We, the Whole School Leadership Institute organization and Board of Trustees, stand firmly with Black, Indigenous and People of Color communities and all others who are actively committed to anti-bias, anti-racism, and with those who commit to creating a world free of violence, free of systemic racism, and free of the oppression of communities of color.

Our organization’s founding principles began with and remain actively committed to the education and training of school leaders in anti-bias and anti-racism. We commit to supporting the consciousness within each leader to have a full impact of equity and inclusion where they serve. We believe we must fully transform the environments within which we learn, live, and work in order for our children to be transformed for the world’s future. School leaders are in the position to create a great impact on equity and inclusion within their communities by empowering the skills of self-awareness and introspection that overcome implicit biases that impede this transformation. We are fervently committed to creating an organization that is consciously just and values and honors a diverse community of human beings. We are committed to racial and social justice for humanity, and especially for those who are oppressed through systemic racism. We will continue our commitment to dismantling systemic racism and its social and economic inequities.

We pledge to provide the support and effort necessary to create a deeply beloved world human family. Our liberation as a world human family is bound together.
