Alumni Impact

We asked our Institute alumni why they chose to take this training, what they’ve done differently in their professional lives, what advice they’d give others considering our training, and how they’d describe Whole School Leadership. We hope you benefit from what they had to say.

 Why they attended:

I had only trained and worked as a Montessori Teacher; becoming an administrator was a whole new challenge. I knew I had to hold on to something that would enable me to respond in the best manner to leading our school.
— Shifra Sverdlin, Head of School at Bet Hayladim, Mexico

What they’ve done differently as a result:

We have been working on transforming our school culture. I have been able to take a deeper look into myself as a leader, how I want to be, and how to get there.
— Todd Covert, Head of School at Berkshire Montessori School

In my own work as a consultant I have been able to integrate a lot of the content into seminars I offer to school leaders and resources I am able to offer schools.

Advice for others considering enrollment:

This training is holistic and life changing.
It had a tremendous impact on the the kind of leader I am today and I am grateful I had the opportunity to take the training.
— Elizabeth Zifcak, Head of School at Fernwood Montessori
Listen profoundly to the people you’ll meet and to the authors you’ll read. Open yourself to share your fears, joys and any emotion; by doing so, you’ll get a lot of understanding of yourself.
— SHIFRA SVERDLIN, HEAD OF SCHOOL AT BET HAYLADIM, MEXICO
Don’t hesitate, do it!
